Position Statement:
The Senior Manager, Distribution Account Management will be responsible for executing Hilton’s global distribution strategy in Europe, Middle East & Africa. The position will oversee day-to-day account management of an assigned account portfolio of distribution channels including Online Travel Agencies (OTAs) and Wholesalers. The main responsibilities include building trusted relationships with accredited channels, developing and executing strategic account plans, holding regular business reviews, auditing hotel participation, identifying, testing and implementing new opportunities to drive revenue, and troubleshooting issues in partnership with the Distribution Operations team.
This position will also be responsible for optimizing performance of Hilton hotels in Europe, Middle East & Africa via accredited online third-party channels. To achieve this, the incumbent will liaise with hotel and corporate stakeholders in multiple departments across the organization, including but not limited to Distribution, Revenue Management, Sales, Marketing, etc. with the goal of driving profitable revenue for the hotels, and growing their market share.
Please note this is a Fixed term contract from beginning of June to October.
Position Summary
As a Team Member in this role, you will be required to:
* Build trusted relationships with assigned distribution partners
* Serve as the global account leader for channels headquartered in Europe, Middle East & Africa
* Collaborate with peers in other global regions, as part of the global account team for OTAs based outside Europe, Middle East & Africa
* Develop strategic account plans for key partners in partnership with the other continent Distribution teams
* Lead bi-weekly account review calls with assigned partners
* Hold quarterly business reviews with assigned partners
* Assist in evaluating the business opportunity of potential new partners and support implementation
* Develop, implement, and execute business processes to support the department
* Partner with Internal departments to optimize hotel performance and address issues with assigned channels
* Ensure hotels adhere to Hilton brand standards, and escalate issues as appropriate
* Arrange and lead hotel training classes/webinars to educate hotels on the available opportunities
* Review hotel performance in partnership with regional Revenue Management and Global Distribution, and identify trends, issues and best practices
* Support the new hotel team with activating new hotels, and ensure hotels are aware of our distribution strategy
* Oversee process-improvement projects to increase execution efficiency with both internal and external stakeholders
* Perform any other job duties as directed
