We are a leading Trauma centre with over 50 theatres covering all major specialities providing 24 hour cover for both elective and emergency procedures. Main duties of the job The post holder will work within the department to provide the highest standards of patient care using research evidence-based practise. To perform the competencies of a registered theatre practitioner and in addition any competencies associated to the allocated specialities. Following training and experience the post holder will be required to support with the teaching and assessment of learners in department. The post holder will assess, plan, implement and evaluate programmes of care for patients undergoing theatre procedures within an individual theatre environment. Following training and experience the post holder may be required to run an individual theatre list and will accept responsibility for the delivery of care within their specialist area.
