This post involves working within a multi-disciplinary team in a Category B local prison providing substance misuse support to our residents. We are seeking a qualified nurse to work within our integrated healthcare team. The successful candidate will represent health care and work alongside the primary care and mental health teams and the prison service to ensure comprehensive care is provided to residents. The successful candidates will undertake various duties within the prison setting, including screening new residents, performing assessments and reviews whilst working in partnership with other agencies to provide comprehensive care. Secure environment experience is especially desirable, but not essential. You will benefit from an extensive supernumerary period, access to a full range of training and be encouraged to develop your skills within this role.
