We have an exciting new opportunity within our commercial team for a skilled Business Development Manager to support the rollout of an ultra-fast fibre broadband network into business properties across Scotland. The Business Development Manager will help lead our growth across SME and larger business portfolios.
In this field-based role, you will be the face of Highland Broadband to the business community and responsible for driving new client relationships, boosting revenues and championing our products and services.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
* Achieve monthly new business targets by acquiring new business accounts and nurturing existing ones.
* Identify and build relationships with prospective clients through calls, networking and referrals.
* Develop and effectively manage a qualified database of business account leads with planned contact activity to maximise conversions.
* Efficiently capture and record prospect activity in the CRM Database for forecasting and reporting purposes.
* Efficiently manage contract negotiations and close deals.
* Stay informed internally on developments with pipelined business accounts for accurate sales forecasting and to maximise the business customer experience.
* Evaluate market information, competitor activity, and client responses for strategic sales approaches.
* Highlight and share any information on barriers to market with Business Development Director.
* Identify suitable partners to work with collaboratively on obtaining new leads.
