We are an innovative and market-leading software & services company based in Chorley serving clients in the utility sector ranging from new entrants to large existing suppliers. We deliver sophisticated software solutions and managed services in a Private Cloud infrastructure, servicing both traditional and modern real-time, smart energy clients.
We operate a Hybrid working policy so you will be able to flex between working in the office and your home location to carry out this role, however during your initial training period the need to be in the office with other team members will be essential. Our UK office is based in Chorley, which is where you will be based.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to People Business Partner, responsibilities include providing advice to managers, managing employee relations, HRIS and ATS management, developing and implementing people policies, and supporting recruitment and onboarding processes.
Employee Relations:
1. Addressing employee queries and concerns.
2. Investigating and resolving employee relations issues.
3. Providing guidance to managers on employee performance management and disciplinary matters.
People Policy & Procedures:
1. Developing, implementing, and updating policies and procedures.
2. Ensuring policies comply with legal requirements and best practices.
3. Communicating policies and procedures to employees.
Recruitment & Onboarding:
1. Assisting managers with recruitment processes, including job postings, screening candidates, and conducting interviews.
2. Managing the onboarding process for new hires.
3. Advising on recruitment strategies and selection processes.
Performance Management:
1. Supporting managers with performance reviews and appraisals.
2. Providing guidance on performance improvement plans.
Data Management:
1. Maintaining accurate records and databases.
2. Monitoring metrics and providing reports.
Training & Development:
1. Identifying training needs and developing training programs.
2. Supporting managers with employee development plans.
Other:
1. Advising on company benefits packages.
2. Supporting People & Culture strategy initiatives.
3. Acting as a point of contact for related inquiries.

ABOUT YOU
You must have:
1. Minimum Level 3 CIPD or equivalent related degree.
2. HR/People Experience with a specific focus on ER, Performance Management and Recruitment.
You will be able to demonstrate:

3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
4. Knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
5. Proficiency in HR software and systems.
