Roles and Responsibilities
* Conceptualise and design engaging visuals for digital and print media, including websites, social media, advertisements and brochures.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices, and implement them as appropriate.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all digital communications.
* Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative concepts and campaigns that effectively communicate our brand message.
* Create and maintain a consistent visual identity across all platforms and media.
* Produce high-quality graphics and layouts using design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign etc).
* Edit impactful videos that showcase our work to our donors using software such as Premier Pro, Final Cut or Capcut.
* Work on multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.
* Edit and retouch posters and videos to ensure they meet the required quality standards.
* Prepare and present design concepts to the Senior Graphic Designer, incorporating feedback and revisions as necessary.
* Build and manage a volunteer base.
* Organise and coordinate regular local campaigns, fundraising/promotional events, and local community events.
* Support seasonal fundraising and marketing campaigns by assisting staff in all One Nation departments as required.
* Represent and promote One Nation at events in a professional and presentable manner.
* Attend, promote and raise funds for One Nation at any event organised by individuals and third-party organisations.
* Establish, build and maintain relationships with key contacts including but not limited to, donors, volunteers, ISOCS, local community leaders, schools, local groups, Community centres, religious organisations, external organisations, and the public.
Experience and key skills required
* Excellent communication skills – written and verbal.
* Excellent time management, the ability to work under pressure and work on own initiative.
* Excellent networking and influencing skills.
* Excellent knowledge of the Adobe Suite.
* Strong understanding of digital marketing principles, including SEO, social media, email marketing, and content marketing.
* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Strong understanding of social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
* Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and content creation.
* Ability to work confidently with management.
* Ability to adapt to changing deadlines and priorities.
* Ability to multitask and prioritise workloads.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
* Work closely with team members to fulfill deliverables such as documents, leaflets, infographics, digital content, and advertising.
* Good independent judgement, strategic vision and ability to challenge constructively.
