Supportpupils to understand instructions and support independent learning andinclusion of all pupils. Supportthe teacher in behaviour management and keeping pupils on task. Supportpupils in social and emotional well-being, reporting problems to the teacher asappropriate. Prepareand clear up learning environment and resources, including photocopying, filingand the display and presentation of pupils' work and contribute to maintaininga safe environment. TeachingAssistants in this role may also undertake some, or allofthe following;Recordpupil data as required Supportchildren's learning through play. Assistwith break-time supervision including facilitating games and activities. Assistwith escorting pupils on educational visits. Supportpupils in using ICT. Invigilateexams and tests. Assistpupils with eating, dressing and hygiene, as required, whilst encouragingindependence. Supportpupils on a one-to-one basis in line with the requirements of an EHCP.Topresent a positive personal image, contributing to a welcoming schoolenvironment which supports equal opportunities for all.
