Lead Restoration Technician / Crew Chief
Servpro of NE Hillsborough County / Plant City is hiring an experienced lead/crew chief disaster restoration technician. We are seeking an experienced disaster restoration technician to join our team as a crew chief.
Job Description: As a SERVPRO lead/crew chief your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, all aspects of job and crew management. This includes managing the length of time you will be on a job, daily monitoring site in order to maintain your daily work schedule, properly explaining the mitigation process to customers, communicating needed work at each water loss to insurance adjusters, project managers, and the technicians you are managing. You will also be responsible for properly documenting all work done based on specific insurance requirements, handling customers and their homes respectfully, training new/temporary employees, and handling any conflict resolution while on site at customers' properties professionally.
Requirements:
1. Valid driver’s license & vehicle
2. Disaster Restoration experience
3. Experience in fire/smoke cleaning, water mitigation, and mold remediation
4. Understanding of restoration equipment & tools
5. Understanding of building materials & home design
6. Comfortable with electronically documenting all aspects of a water loss
7. Team oriented, positive & professional
8. Understanding of 24/7 emergency service responsibilities
9. Ability to lift 65lbs
10. Ability to work on call/back up rotation
Skills:
1. IICRC certifications
2. Previous lead/crew chief experience
3. Experience in communicating directly with insurance & adjusters
4. Carpet cleaning and duct cleaning experience
5. Experience in utilizing monitoring software such as Drybook or Moisture Mapper
This is a Full Time position with overtime availability.
