Title: Senior HR Advisor
Salary: Up to £45,000 p/a
Location: East Sussex
Contract: Permanent
JGA are delighted to be working with a successful organisation looking to add a Senior HR Advisor to its team.
Responsibilities include:
1. Work with the Head of HR to drive the alignment of the People Strategies
2. Managing ER cases
3. Work with the Head of HR to develop HR policies
4. Communicate effectively with all key internal and external stakeholders
5. Advise Leaders and support with investigative, disciplinary & grievance meetings
6. Actively work with Leaders in creating and or updating job descriptions
7. Facilitate recruitment activity
8. Ensure all new employees have a robust on-boarding programme
9. Mentor and coach the HR and Payroll Administrator
10. Monitor and as necessary manage absence levels
11. Ensure that the annual and mid year performance reviews are carried out
12. Support the Head of HR with any ad-hoc requests
Skills & experience required:
1. Full CIPD Qualification
2. Minimum 2-3 years generalist HR experience gained in a medium sized SME organisation
3. Competent in the advice and application of current employment law
4. Experience of modern Recruitment Practices, Training, Learning & Development
5. Computer literate - Word, Excel, Outlook
6. Strong influencing and coaching skills
7. Positive, with excellent communication skills
8. Self-motivated with a high degree of initiative and integrity
