Overview:
We are excited to support a large SEN school in Milton Keynes, looking for a proactive and motivating Behaviour Support Assistant to impact the lives of young learners with additional needs.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support young learners with additional learning needs.
2. Utilize IEPs and behaviour plans to promote pupil development.
3. Make a positive impact on the lives of young learners.
This school provides a specialised and supportive environment for young learners with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs, as well as those with ASD and ADHD. The curriculum focuses on essential life skills, job readiness, and communication. Staff receive thorough training and have access to ongoing professional development opportunities. Requirements for the Behaviour Support Assistant role:
1. Previous experience supporting challenging behaviour is essential.
2. Team Teach training is desirable.
3. Previous experience in education or working with young people is advantageous.
