Role Description
This is a full-time, hybrid role for a Senior Flat Roofing Estimator located in Sawston, Cambridgeshire. The Senior Flat Roofing Estimator will be responsible for preparing comprehensive cost estimates for flat roofing projects, analysing drawings and specifications, and liaising with clients, suppliers, and contractors. Additional tasks include conducting site visits, assessing materials and labour requirements, and ensuring all estimates comply with industry standards and company policies.
What we're looking for
* A minimum of 5 years' prior experience as a roofing estimator or in a similar role
* Experience pricing jobs up to £5m+
* Strong knowledge of flat roofing systems, materials, and manufacturers
* Proficiency in estimating software
* Excellent attention to detail
* Strong communication and negotiation skills
* Excellent organisation and time management skills
* A valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites
