Our established client based in Ringwood is looking to recruit a full-time Customer Service and Sales Assistant to join a multi-channel Contact Centre. The role is an inbound contact centre position, that will involve handling new orders and customer service actions. The orders element of the role requires sales skills, with a very strong emphasis on upselling. Additional work involves managing emails and various other 'back office' tasks. Full training is provided for all elements of the role.
The suitable candidate will be welcomed into the team where they will work alongside established, skilled consultants to help 'raise the bar' in terms of customer experience. Growth and development are encouraged and supported, and over time, they will have the opportunity to progress their role and take on additional duties. This added responsibility will be rewarded with a salary increase.
Key Responsibilities
1. Acting as a liaison between customers and our client, ensuring smooth communication and resolution of inquiries.
2. Handling incoming inquiries via phone, email, and other channels and resolving them in a timely and effective manner. Inquiries will range from delivery to warranties, and all advisors will be trained on all aspects of the role to ensure customers have one call resolution.
3. Demonstrating a customer-centric approach to build and maintain customer loyalty and satisfaction.
4. Documenting interactions accurately and updating customer information in the company database.
5. Collaborating with internal teams to provide comprehensive solutions and escalating issues when necessary.
6. Maintaining a high level of professionalism and adhering to company guidelines and policies.
7. Upselling and cross-selling on every opportunity presented in order to increase revenue.
8. Identifying and maximizing sales opportunities through cross-selling and upselling plus special promotions on a wide range of retail products.
9. Placing customer orders and resolving all customer inquiries at the first point of contact efficiently.

£24,024 (£26,424 OTE)
Out of Hours opportunity:
£14.55 p/h 10pm to 8am
Location:
Ringwood
Hours:
40 paid hours per week.
Shifts:
Shifts rotate between 8.00am to 4.30pm, 9.30am to 6pm, 3.30pm to 10pm, and 10pm to 8am (Out of Hours opportunity).
