Project Administrator – Oxford £35,000 Benefits Commercial Scheme – Starting April We are looking for a highly organised and motivated Project Administrator to join one of the UK’s largest Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) contractors, based in Oxford. This is an exciting opportunity to support a commercial scheme starting in April, working alongside Tier 1 contractors such as Ardmore, Bouygues, and Balfour Beatty on high-profile residential and commercial projects. Key Responsibilities: Provide administrative support to the project management team to ensure the smooth running of the project. Assist in the preparation and management of project documentation, including contracts, reports, and correspondence. Maintain and update project schedules, tracking milestones and deadlines. Coordinate meetings, site visits, and communication between project teams and stakeholders. Assist with procurement, managing purchase orders, and ensuring materials are delivered on time. Help with invoicing, tracking project budgets, and ensuring timely payments. Manage filing and record-keeping systems, ensuring compliance with company and project requirements. Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and other project-related documents. Requirements: Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within the construction or M&E sector. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and project management software. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Knowledge of construction terminology and processes is advantageous but not essential
