Are you an experienced Health and Safety Advisor in Construction who is passionate about ensuring world-class Safety standards and practices?
Sustainable Futures Group (SFG) is excited to be partnering with one of the UK’s largest Social Housing providers to recruit a Health and Safety Advisor within their Construction and Development arm to work within an experienced Safety team.
Reporting into the Construction Health and Safety Manager, the position is home based covering a diverse range of leading construction projects predominantly across the Essex region.
The Health and Safety Advisor will be responsible for:
* Providing expert Health and Safety advice in support of site management teams
* Conducting on-site health and safety duties including ISO 14001 site safety audits, site inspections, and accident investigations
* Delivering H&S training and inductions
* Leading on the digital Safety management system
To be considered for this Health and Safety Advisor role you should have:
* A background in Health and Safety within a Construction environment with a strong understanding of new build housing and apartment building experience using both traditional block and beam and RC framing techniques
* Knowledge and experience of temporary works management
* NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate
* Technical member of IOSH (TechIOSH)

* A competitive salary of between £50,000 - £55,000 including car allowance, depending on experience or option for a company car plus mileage paid
