The Transformation Manager, reporting to the Head of Data and Transformation, is responsible for enabling business transformation. The role provides governance and support to the business to enable the prioritisation and delivery of cross-functional transformation projects, and helps hold the business to account. The role sits in the project management office (PMO) and is expected to influence project teams and sponsors across the business. This is a hybrid role working 1-2 days a week in our Shirley office. Main purpose & goals The main purpose of the role is to manage business transformation and change, partnering the business to ensure resources are focused on strategic priorities. The goals of the role are to: - Operate key programme governance controls and processes - Work with the team in managing the workflow of projects into group programmes to prioritise and schedule demand against available resource - Collaborating with IT, operations, Finance and other cross-functional teams on scheduling - Leaning into project teams to support with initiation, governance and execution where required - Ensure stakeholders are clear on the above Key responsibilities Acts a senior business partner to project teams and works as part of the PMO: - Support a small transformation team. - Embed and operate governance processes: to include project initiation, change management, progress measurement and management, clarity on success criteria, to completion. - Manage the programme pipeline: - support project teams in preparing project initiation documentation and business cases to enable proper scrutiny as part of governance processes, ensuring projects meet business objectives, and resource/time/cost/benefits are well understood and prioritised. - assess risks and returns associated with strategic initiatives. - define KPIs and performance metrics to measure the success of strategic initiatives. Regularly evaluate progress and adjust strategies as needed. - operate project prioritisation aligned to the Group's strategic objectives by routinely reviewing the in-mind and in-flight projects and supporting the Head of Data and Transformation in challenging where appropriate - including to executive and Mars divisional or segmental leadership. - Collaborate with stakeholders: - work closely with operational teams, IT, Finance and other department heads to define project scopes and develop transformation plans. - work with Mars divisional and segment leadership to support Mars Group initiatives and champion Linnaeus - Communicate: support the Head of Data and Transformation in delivery of reporting on programmes and strategic initiatives to executive, support office stakeholders, and Mars divisional and segmental leadership - Oversee project execution: Ensure successful implementation of transformation projects within agreed timelines and budgets through planning and control activities. - Change management: Support and educate associates on adoption of transformation initiatives across the organisation. - Foster a culture of innovation: Encourage collaboration, creativity, and continuous improvement within the organisation.
