We are seeking a Service Manager to join our team in Preston, overseeing our workshop and field service operations. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated team of engineers and service professionals, ensuring top-quality service and support for our customers.
What You'll Be Doing:
Leading &; motivating the service team to meet and exceed performance targets.
Managing customer relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
Overseeing repairs, maintenance, and service operations, prioritising efficiency and quality.
Driving health &; safety compliance, ensuring best practices are followed at all times.
Monitoring financial performance, ensuring profitability and cost control.
Developing staff, providing training and support to enhance skills and expertise.
Type of Service Manager we're Looking For:
Strong team leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a service team.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Commercial awareness with the ability to manage budgets and maximize efficiency.
Experience in workshop/service management within an engineering, automotive, or special-purpose vehicle sector.
Ability to solve problems under pressure and make informed decisions.
IT literate and competent in service management systems.
