1.61 London are a luxury interior design house and property development firm specializing in super-prime residential builds. Our team has been accredited globally, securing multiple international design awards, and have been listed many times as one of the world's leading design names.
We are significantly growing year on year and experience high demand for our work both in the UK and globally. Due to this ongoing success, we are building out our London-based team and are seeking a dedicated individual who will take care of our day-to-day accounting needs and the financial side of our projects. You will be working directly for the directors of the company.
Role Responsibilities
* Development expenditure, bank reconciliations & VAT returns with oversight from our accountant and the Directors
* Production of monthly management accounts & quarterly consolidated financials
* Financial planning & analysis
* Production of development cash flow budgets, variance analysis & business partnering with wider project teams
* Debt Management
* Production of drawdown requests for development facilities & testing of quarterly financial covenants
* Help with the annual statutory accounts for SPVs, annual budgets, review of tax returns & performance of year-end external audit duties
Minimum Requirements
* A minimum of 5 years experience working in the accountancy sector
* Good communication, organisation and time management skills
* FCCA would be helpful
* Knowledge of Xero
* Very good written English (there will be a test as part of the interview process to check this)
