Our Care Coordinator will benefit from: A competitive salary up to £26,500 per year Comprehensive induction Ongoing training & support DBS payment reimbursed (T&Cs Apply) Refer a friend scheme (T&C’s apply) Access to gain diplomas in Health & Social Care Company pension As a Care Coordinator you will: Work closely with the Registered Manager on a daily basis, you must have excellent communication skills and provide sensitive, responsive and appropriate response to people who use services and their carers. You must have come from a care background. You will need to be able to prioritise tasks and remain calm when under pressure, and possess good IT skills. Key daily tasks will be to manage the rota, ensuring care calls are scheduled appropriately Ensure all rotas are fully covered – inclusive of picking up shifts personally as and when cover can not be sought. Help monitor and coordinate client care plans, dealing with social services and health professional, with complaints, covering sickness and administer care assessments, you will also need to partake in initial enquires and risk assessments. Be responsible to cover any staff sickness, where care calls can not be covered, care calls that you attend outside of your working hours will be either paid as additional to your pay rate or as time off in lieu To provide care in accordance with current best practices, according to policy and procedures, agreed standards, legislative requirements, relevant regulations under the direction of the Registered Manager There is an on-call element of the role, to support the care team out of office hours. The successful candidate will also be required to share shift cover during carer sickness and annual leave.
