I am seeking a positive and enthusiastic Production Planner to join their dynamic team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess strong communication skills, I want to hear from you! Key Responsibilities
* Convert planned orders to production orders at the point of kitting.
* Check for shortages during conversion and advise purchasing, maintaining a spreadsheet of these shortages.
* Enter site commit dates.
* Review pick lists for unpicked items, addressing genuine stock issues or CPN/MPN/BOM discrepancies by amending production order component lists and coordinating with stores.
* Monitor shortage reports and respond to production and customer service enquiries.
* Assist with stocktakes and resolve production order variances.
* Support material transactions as needed.

Required Skills
To excel in this role, you should have:
* Previous planning experience in a manufacturing environment.
* Familiarity with MRP systems (SAP experience is desirable but not essential).
* High competence in Microsoft Excel (essential).
* Excellent communication skills.
* A proactive mindset with a systematic approach to tasks.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* The ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
