The Role Our fantastic Procurement team is looking for a Procurement Coordinator to join them at an incredibly exciting time for the business. The Procurement Coordinator primarily supports the Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) and all related activities through process management and governance. This role is designed to provide exposure to various procurement activities, making it a strategic stepping stone for those looking to advance their careers in this area. Overall, this role provides a rich learning environment where you can develop core procurement competencies, whilst contributing to the teams ` success. What You ` ll Be Doing Support the Supplier Performance Manager to ensure that all SRM gateway activities are fully captured and fully align to both internal policies and external regulatory requirements Plan, implement and repeat SRM processes to minimise any supply chain risk and escalate any concerns identified therein as required Take day to day ownership for the procurement intranet hub pages to ensure the provision of a quality self-serve reference support to the wider business Identify, develop and maintain key valued stakeholder relationships to drive continuous improvement initiatives for all procurement processes, particularly within the operational (24/7) functions Support the ongoing and future development of the Supplier Zone page on the company website through regular liaison with the Communication Team as relevant Support any identified procurement benchmarking activities / projects to validate service quality and commercial opportunities Support tendering projects and RFP processes and other supplier-facing activities as required in order to support the wider procurement team objectives Support the Data Analyst with reporting and related administrative activities as required What We ` re Looking for in You Communication skills: Strong written and verbal communication, able to influence stakeholders and suppliers alike and achieve negotiate successfully Commercial skills: able to identify what is important and how it contributes to the success of our business and to that of our suppliers, delivering value through a variety of means Accountability: Able to prioritise work, meet deadlines and targets Analytical Skills: A curious individual, with strong problem-solving skills and techniques.
