Senior EICA Design Engineer
Summary
As part of the Design Team, the Senior EICA Design Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, and delivery of Electrical, Instrumentation, Control, and Automation systems for water and wastewater treatment projects for various clients. This role involves working as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure that all EICA elements are integrated effectively into project designs, meet regulatory requirements, and adhere to industry best practices. The Senior EICA Engineer will manage the design process from concept through to detailed design, supporting project delivery and ensuring systems operate efficiently, safely, and within budget.

Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in EICA design engineering
Knowledge of control system architectures, PLCs, SCADA, and instrumentation

Experience in full project lifecycle from concept to commissioning
Capability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
Software/Tools
Electrical design software and tools
SCADA systems
PLC programming tools
Building Information Modelling (BIM) software (desirable)
2D/3D CAD packages
Certifications & Standards
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related discipline
Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or working towards it
Knowledge of electrical safety standards and automation security
Master’s degree in Electrical, Control, or Automation Engineering (desirable)
Familiarity with sustainable design principles (desirable)
