Sellick Partnership is excited to be working with a Legal 500 ranked firm in Leeds who are looking for a Corporate Associate to join their team.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Advising on buying, selling, and merging companies, including negotiations and due diligence.
* Offering advice on board decisions, shareholder agreements, and corporate law compliance.
* Drafting and negotiating business contracts, including joint ventures and licensing agreements.
* Helping with setting up companies and structuring businesses.
* Assisting with raising capital, including public offerings and private placements.
* Ensuring companies follow laws and regulations, like securities and data protection laws.
* Representing clients in corporate disputes, including shareholder issues and contract breaches.
* Advising on investments and financing.
* Helping with IP protection and licensing in corporate deals.
* Advising on executive compensation, employee benefits, and workplace policies.
* Offering guidance on corporate restructuring and insolvency matters.
The successful candidate:
Proven track record of working on corporate transactions.Minimum of 3 years PQE.Confident in working with a range of clients.Strong interpersonal skills.Natural team player.Eager to collaborate with colleagues across the region.Committed to making a positive impact on clients.
