Product Owner - Tax Operations Change AVP 3260077 Glasgow In the Operations division, we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships. This is an Director level position level position within the Core Services function. This role is in International Tax Operations Fleet. The successful candidate will take ownership of a programme of new business initiatives, regulatory / infrastructure change and strategic process innovations from a Tax operations perspective. The candidate will ensure that change is managed successfully through bringing together stakeholders across Operations, Corporate Tax, Technology and wider business units. Over time, it is expected that the candidate will need to be able to coach and manage more junior members of staff to support delivery as required. What you'll do in the role: > Program and project planning and control > Implementing governance framework and stakeholder management > Issue and risk management > Collaborate across stakeholder groups to define requirements to implement change via technology, procedures and controls > Define business case to support prioritisation of change bringing together relevant metrics and analysis > Write / document detailed user stories, impact assessments and functional specifications > Partner with technology and operations, ensuring that key stakeholders are included in the Agile journey. > Support Agile squads, acting as proxy to Product Owner as required > Innovation, ability to identify gaps & business needs and formulate into solutions in to clear user stories > Ownership of the delivery of capabilities and epics which make the key initiatives.
