As an Educational Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the academic, emotional, and social development of students within the region. Your expertise will contribute to the creation of inclusive learning environments and the enhancement of overall student well-being.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Conducting comprehensive assessments of students' cognitive, emotional, and social development.
2. Analysing assessment data to identify learning difficulties, behavioural issues, and emotional challenges.
3. Maintaining accurate and thorough records of assessments, interventions, and consultations.
4. Providing insightful and evidence-based recommendations to educators, parents, and other professionals.
5. Developing and implementing effective interventions to address identified issues and enhance student performance.
6. Collaborating with school staff to create and monitor individualised education plans for students with diverse needs.
7. Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a collaborative and supportive educational environment.
8. Providing consultation to school teams on effective strategies for managing challenging behaviours and fostering positive social-emotional development.
Requirements:
1. Educational Psychology qualification.
2. Relevant professional experience in educational psychology.
3. Strong assessment, intervention, and consultation skills.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
