They are now seeking a confident and self-sufficient Finance and Payroll Assistant to join their team in London and support the finance function. You will need to enjoy working with many different people and teams to ensure tasks are delivered on time and to a high standard. The role will allow you a great deal of autonomy and the ability to develop quickly in many different areas. Finance and Payroll Assistant, the role: Inputting sales and purchase invoices for the Group, processing numerous currency transactions Processing payroll through to approval and ensure accurate data is provided to the payroll bureau Managing reconciliation process for multiple bank accounts Supporting the annual year-end audit by way of making available reconciled documents Looking after Aged Debtors and Creditors balances Performing fortnightly payment run for authorisation Managing employee expenses and credit card reconciliations Supporting month-end processes with journals, including key monthly account reconciliations Liaising with Membership team with payment queries Finance and Payroll Assistant, the person: Previous experience in bookkeeping and/or accounts assistant role is essential Ability to communicate at a wide variety of levels Excellent prioritisation and time-management skills with the ability to use your own initiative Proficient in Microsoft Package Good team player Great relationship builder Analytical skills Desirable: Experience with Xero or Business Central, alongside using a Business Banking System for making payments Ability to operate at strategic and tactical levels Credibility with members, staff and stakeholders Finance and Payroll Assistant, the benefits: 26 days of Annual Leave plus Bank Holidays (plus closure between 25/12 and 1/01 inclusive) Private Medical Insurance Bupa Life Assurance 4x salary HSF Health Cashplan (including Perkbox) Income Protection (12 months qualifying service) Employer Pension Contribution up to 11% Season Ticket Loan Cycle to work scheme Discretionary bonus Pure Human Resources Limited works in partnership with IMarEST in providing Recruitment support.
