The North Community Mental Health Service is undergoing an exciting transformation with additional resource allocation to provide ongoing intensive support to the population of Sheffield. This includes working towards a joint approach with Primary Care and the Voluntary Sector, reviewing the CMHT Service Criteria, and working in discreet small teams in local communities, leading to a high-quality care standard.
We are looking to recruit a Band 6 Nurse to the North CMHT. A number of our service users require a man as their named worker due to the nature of the service provided, including trauma and risk history. We intend to appoint a man to this post as an occupational requirement because we do not have any men in nursing roles in this service.
The successful candidate will be supported with their professional and leadership development through dedicated supervision with highly experienced and motivated team managers, where learning opportunities will be supported and encouraged. From the multi-disciplinary team, we offer regular CPD sessions and candidates are encouraged to bring their own interests to the team to share and develop their specific interests in mental health. Please note this is a qualified Nursing Vacancy.
