Priority Candidates will be considered in the first instance Makerfield Way Depot, Makerfield Way, Ince, Wigan, WN2 2PR Salary: Grade 5, 25,992 - 28,624 per annum. 13.47 - 14.84 per hour 37 hours per week Your role: This is a great opportunity to work in a small, dedicated team that supports the Councils operational Departments based at Makerfield Way Depot. The role has a high customer service element, and you will work closely with colleagues across all our Operational Services. You will be picking, issuing and ordering a wide range of materials for different Services, operating a forklift truck, using pallet trucks and undertaking daily safety inspections of the Depot, which you will record results and arrange repairs. You will play a key role in keeping the Depot safe, tidy and clean. About you: You will have a customer focused approach, be well organised and enthusiastic. You will have a flexible attitude to work and a positive approach. You will have proven experience of physical / manual work and have experience of working in a Stores environment and using a computer system. You will have had Health & Safety training relevant to this position and have knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and their application in the workplace.
