Registered Veterinary Nurse - Small Animal
Are you looking for a new adventure in a practice that recognises the importance of a healthy work/life balance?
We know that our nurses are fundamental in enabling us to provide a fantastic level of patient care and we are therefore looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our already wonderful nursing team.
With a strong interest in personal development, we actively encourage our nurses to follow their professional ambitions and provide opportunities to develop with regular, well-funded CPD.
Our nurses currently offer diabetes, arthritis and behaviour clinics and we are looking to build rehab and physiotherapy into our services in the near future. We are also a training practice so there will be an opportunity to either use or gain skills in mentoring the next generation of RVNs.
Rota patterns that work for you
Our people are at the heart of everything that we do, and that’s why we know that work-life balance is vital in supporting our people to be their best selves. Our flexible approach to rota patterns and working hours offers a balance that truly flexes with you and your lifestyle no matter what stage you are in your career.
This is a full-time role working 38.5 hours per week. We are happy to consider part-time applications. Shift start and end times are variable, with 8 am as the earliest start and 8 pm as the latest start. There are sometimes 10 am starts and 6 pm finishes, with a 1 in 8 weekend rota.
We have the bonus of Vets Now being onsite, so there are no out-of-hours, and we do not have to transfer our patients to another practice for overnight or weekend care.
