Summary
This is a broad role with an exciting remit as we embark on an ambitious full-scale transformation of Digital & Technology. The responsibilities include;
The Finance lead for Evolution (our Digital & Technology transformation programme), owning the business case and partnering across the workstream leads to implement strong financial controls and assure the significant financial & non-financial benefits attached to this programme.
The Finance business partner to Chief Technology Officer, Chief Information & Security Officer and Chief Data & AI Officer providing commercial challenge to drive cost optimisation and maximise return on investment.
The Finance business partner to the Group Support portfolio (HR, Finance & Corporate) to drive strong financial controls, commercial challenge and assurance across product and programme investment.
You will lead a team of 2 Finance Managers, fostering a culture on continuous improvement and professional growth.
To stay close to customers, our support teams are in the office three days a week as we believe that skills are developed through collaboration, and that spending time together makes us more creative and connected.

What you'll do
Your key accountabilities will include:
* Develop the business case for Evolution (our Digital & Technology transformation programme). Develop insightful analysis and implement the right financial controls to monitor progress and assure value realisation.
* Support strategy & business case development across each area, providing commercial challenge and driving a focus on optimising total cost of ownership.
* Drive financial controls across product and platform investment spanning the investment lifecycle including robust post implementation review.
* Support delivery of reforecasts and long term planning, including monthly R&Os, quarterly reforecasts, budget and 5 year strategic plans working cross-functionally to deliver each cycle.
* Team development: Responsible for developing team capability; ensuring they are motivated, energised and upskilled and therefore delivering as a high performing team.
Who you are
Your skills and experience will include:
* Qualified accountant with several years PQE in a commercial environment.
* Technology Finance experience preferably Technology transformation, infrastructure & platforms.
* Collaborative approach, with a natural style that builds credibility and a strong network across Digital & Technology and Finance.
* Commercial curiosity and a critical thinker with excellent analytical skills.
* Ability to influence and partner at senior and exec levels. Willingness to challenge the status quo and an ability to manage change.
