Finance Business Partner Operations partners to central operations (Manufacturing, Procurement and Supply Chain) functions to drive value creation by optimising the P&L and Balance Sheet impact of functional decisions. Drive the delivery of CA financial and operational KPIs working with the business to identify operational opportunities.
Leading or coordinating key initiatives across Clean Air Operations, working across the business to ensure trade-offs between functions, cost lines, and P&L and Balance Sheet are understood. Deliver sound financial planning and analysis to support decision making and resource allocation.
Your responsibilities:
* Be a trusted business partner to the operations function, developing a deep understanding of the business and manufacturing plants, building a real and proactive partnership with operations leaders, providing real-time financial support, delivering information in a clear and user-friendly manner, and being able to convey challenging and insightful messages.
* Support Operations Finance Director with strategic planning and value-creating agenda by directly leading or coordinating financial target setting, financial strategy implementation and financial performance tracking for the manufacturing, procurement and supply chain functions.
* Together with the Operations Finance Director, coordinate the annual budget and long-range planning process for the operations functions, ensuring supply plans are balanced and costed effectively, and manufacturing, procurement and supply chain excellence savings flow into the overall FP&A framework support.
* Drive continuous review and improvement of KPI performance tracking analysis, and benchmarking and identify process improvements and operations opportunities across the network. Build strategies/plans/budgets which maximise returns and profitability.
* Work with Supply Chain team to understand on-costs of matching demand and supply mismatches through the sales and operations planning process.
* Work closely with Manufacturing teams to identify, track and deliver increased value through Excellence and efficiency programmes.
Requirements for the role:
* Professional accounting qualification, e.g. ACA, CIMA or equivalent.
* Significant and substantial experience in Finance function preferably in a large corporate organisation. Proficient in Windows tools including Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
* Experience of interpreting strategy and policy in order to set and deliver objectives with medium to long time frames.
* Excellent communication and influencing skills.
* Business Planning, Financial Performance and Analysis (Advanced).
* Maximise Value (Business Case, Commercial Acumen, Cash, Working Capital, Business Processes) (Advanced).
