If you’ve performed a similar role previously, this could be a great opportunity to develop your career.
The difference you’ll make:
* Leading audit and assurance activities, assessing the management of risks, and suggesting alternatives where appropriate
* Supporting on-going business monitoring and annual risk assessment and audit plan processes
* Providing coaching and support to Internal Audit colleagues during audit engagements
* Building and maintaining relationships across Internal Audit and with key stakeholders across the business
* Ensuring full compliance with management reporting requirements, policies, and frameworks

What you’ll bring:
These are the essential requirements you need to be successful in this role:
* Previous experience in an audit manager role within Financial Services
* In depth knowledge of Economic crime controls such as Due Diligence, Sanctions and Transaction Monitoring
* An understanding of risk and control frameworks and the mindset to identify and evaluate their effectiveness
* Demonstrable experience of managing and leading elements of reviews and providing support to senior management and less experienced colleagues
It would also be nice for you to have:
* An understanding of the financial services industry and its regulatory framework relating to AML, Sanctions and Bribery and Corruption
* Ability to meet tight deadlines whilst maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
* Excellent communication and relationship management skills with the ability to use different influencing styles
* Ability to prioritise multiple tasks to ensure quality delivery within defined timescales
