VP of Asset Management | London
Digna is partnered with a highly respected real estate investment and development firm, backed by institutional capital and a track record of success in operationally intensive residential assets.
As part of its strategic growth, the firm is seeking a VP of Asset Management to take ownership of a growing portfolio of newly developed, lease-up, and stabilised properties across the UK and beyond.
This is a rare opportunity to join a well-capitalised, high-growth platform, working alongside a seasoned investment and operations team to shape the firm’s long-term asset management strategy. The role offers significant exposure to investment, development, and operational execution, with the chance to play a pivotal role in the firm’s success.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the performance, strategy, and execution of a growing portfolio across the UK.
* Manage the lease-up, stabilisation, and long-term performance of newly acquired and developed assets.
* Lead financial modeling, valuation, and portfolio analysis, presenting insights to internal stakeholders and investors.
* Work closely with the investment, development, and operations teams to align business strategy with asset performance.
* Drive budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for the portfolio, ensuring accurate and timely investor communication.
* Monitor capital projects, refinancing, and potential dispositions, optimising returns at both the asset and portfolio level.
* Establish and maintain relationships with JV partners, lenders, and other key stakeholders.
* Conduct regular market analysis and benchmarking to enhance portfolio performance and competitive positioning.
Key Qualifications:
* 7-12 years of experience in real estate asset management, with a focus on student housing or multifamily assets. Preferably from an institutional background
* Strong expertise in financial modeling, investment analysis, and asset optimisation.
* Track record of managing new development, lease-ups, and stabilised properties.
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing platform, with the ability to work independently and drive strategy.
* Proficiency in Excel, financial reporting, and portfolio management systems.
