What Are We Looking For?
We are looking for a commercially savvy individual, able to represent the business at the highest level on operational and project oversight, bid defence, strategic evaluation and implementation. Although the title of the role is under ‘Operations’, this position’s primary remit is for successful project delivery, driven by an inclusive “Timelines-Budget-Quality” management approach.
Coming from a CRO/service background, neuroscience or imaging experience is desirable but not essential. The successful candidate will have proven background line managing across different departments, working with stake holders and the senior management/executive leadership team.
Key Responsibilities:
The SVP of Operations will work closely with the CEO and Senior Leadership Team (SLT) in defining and executing on the vision and strategy of the Company. You will also be responsible for, and lead, the Company’s operational delivery, including Clinical Operations, Data Management, Project Management and Project Start Up.
The SVP Operations will provide leadership in delivery excellence by developing and monitoring appropriate operational key performance indicators whilst ensuring resource is available and fit for purpose in delivering the company’s goals. We are looking for a results driven individual determining “what good operational delivery looks like”. This includes motivating direct and indirect reports, engaging internal and external stakeholders and decision-makers, and continue developing a world-class data analytics platform engine.
Experience and Skills:
§ Education requirements: Academic level of education in (Bio-) Medical Sciences and/or Business Administration
§ Beneficial to have previous imaging and/or neuroscience experience
§ Willingness and capability to be ‘hands-on’ with project delivery where necessary
§ Able to lead across a variety of business functions and support wider business initiatives
§ Desire to develop and ‘up-skill’ individuals and teams, as well as delegate responsibility
§ Technology centric CRO Service business background,
§ Proven background in Delivery: Operations and Program Management
§ Excellent line management, planning, goal setting and performance evaluation
§ Self-motivated and responsible
§ Strong communication and ability to positively influence both within and outside the business
