The successful candidate will manage a large commercial client base, addressing all their energy needs. Acting as the single point of contact, they will build relationships and provide expert knowledge on energy markets, enabling clients to sign Gas and Electricity contracts well in advance. Key Responsibilities: Book and attend energy contract renewal meetings with commercial clients. Identify opportunities to up/cross-sell additional products and services. Conduct regular Client Review Meetings and ensure client retention. Generate leads and referrals from new and existing clients. Ensure valid Letters of Authority for the entire client base. Prepare for client meetings with thorough knowledge of their business activities and energy contracts. Maintain regular contact with clients through various communication channels. Share relevant client information internally. Keep the CRM system updated with all client interactions. Address customer queries and liaise with Client Services. Monitor energy markets and identify opportunities for contract renewals. Communicate effectively with all departments. Produce and prepare reports as required. Attend external seminars and conferences. Participate in ongoing training and development. Engage in regular performance reviews and company appraisals. Support colleagues and Directors as needed. What You'll Need to Succeed Essential Skills: Commercial know-how and understanding of the energy market. Excellent customer service skills. Knowledge of key business performance indicators. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook. Exceptional sales and negotiation skills. Proven ability to develop strong business relationships. Self-motivated with a positive work ethic. Strong organizational and time management skills. Creative and able to implement sales improvement initiatives. Ability to communicate assertively and empathetically. Capacity to manage change and work flexibly. Valid UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel frequently. Minimum two years' experience in a sales environment with extensive client contact.
