Job Description International Bank based in Manchester, are looking to recruit an Area Manager to oversee their Commercial business across the Midlands. The position will be based at their Manchester offices, with travel to the Midlands from time to time. It's also worth noting this position, will be full time in the office.
The role holder is primarily responsible for driving profitable volume growth through value added sales and service of Commercial / SME customers. Youll target and manage an assigned portfolio of customers within the commercial credit business segments. The key challenge in this role is to manage both existing and grow new corporate portfolios and to read early warning signs that could affect the portfolio health.
Main responsibilities will include;
Coaching and training RM/RSOs ensuring all KPIs are managed as per business scorecard
Quality Assurance support with stakeholder units
Country Credit Committee preparation and presentation of cases
Portfolio Management of branches and adherence to TCF guidelines
Customer networking and managing client appointments
Trade & FX referrals to the business
Targeted asset growth of the branch balance sheets
Targeted deposit growth of the branch balance sheets
Negotiate client proposals for assets and deposits
