We are seeking a knowledgeable and highly skilled Pharmacist to join our team. The pharmacist will play a crucial role in patient care by counselling patients on medication usage and potential side effects, as well as collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimise medication therapy.
QUALIFICATIONS & JOB REQUIREMENTS:
* 6 months Healthcare experience as a Pharmacist
* Right to work in the UK
* Registered with HCPC
* References covering last 3 years of clinical employment
* AHPs should have 1 year of experience
* Overseas Police Check, if any
* Indemnity Insurance
* Up-to-date CV
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently while ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
* Provide medication therapy management by reviewing prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness, monitoring for drug interactions, and advising patients on proper medication usage.
* Counsel patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and answer any questions or concerns they may have.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians and nurses, to optimize patient medication therapy and ensure comprehensive patient care.
* Maintain accurate patient records and medication profiles, including allergies and medication history.
* Oversee inventory management to ensure adequate stock levels and proper storage of medications.
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with all pharmacy policies and procedures.
