Salary: From £29,638 up to £40,993 per annum - depending on experience (pro rata for part-time)

We are recruiting for roles commencing from August 2025.
Our Sixth Form College is looking for an A Level Lecturer - Law to join us. We seek enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about teaching and learning and can inspire and motivate students to reach their full potential.
There may be scope for this role to be classified as a T4 Curriculum and Quality Specialist Teacher – this will be discussed with candidates at interview.
What You Will Do
* Deliver and assess essential knowledge and understanding to learners.
* Record student progress, motivate and inspire students to achieve targets, and develop their skills to enable progression.
* Reflect on effective teaching and learning to meet the diverse needs of students.
* Adapt curriculum delivery methods to maximise effectiveness, including the use of technology.
* Plan, prepare, and develop effective schemes of work, lesson plans, and teaching resources, including online learning resources.
* Deliver inspiring sessions using a wide range of teaching methods.
* Develop and employ effective assessment activities.
* Assess student work, provide constructive feedback, and record learners’ progress.
About You
* Focused, passionate, and ready to deliver an inspiring curriculum.
* Either a qualified or newly qualified teacher.
* Experience and demonstrable success teaching students up to Level 3.
* Hold a relevant teaching qualification.
* Success in positively managing student progression and providing guidance in a school or Further Education setting.
* Commitment to continuous professional development.
* Experience developing creative learning materials.
