This is an excellent opportunity to join a small and friendly team in this newly created role, which will provide additional resources and support to the existing finance team, reflecting the companys appreciation of its staff. The Role Reporting to the FD, key responsibilities include: As the Assistant Management Accountant, you will be working closely with the Management Accountant and support the finance function by undertaking a range of tasks, including: Assisting with preparing management accounts, including prepayments, accruals, and journal postings. Monitoring and updating the cash flow model daily. Monitoring and reconciling bank accounts. Undertaking balance sheet reconciliations. Providing additional support to the finance team as needed, such as data analysis, assisting with audits, or handling expense reports. Assisting during busy periods with invoice processing, supplier payments, and customer receipts, ensuring accurate and timely reconciliations. Working closely with colleagues across the business to provide financial insights and ensure efficient operations. The Candidate We seek a detail-oriented, reliable individual who thrives in a team environment. The ideal candidate will have: A solid understanding and practical experience of accounting principles and practices. Experience in management accounts preparation, including prepayments and accruals. Strong proficiency with accounting software and Excel. Excellent organisational and time management skills to handle a varied workload. A proactive and adaptable attitude, ready to assist with tasks as needed.
