Science Teacher
* Daily Rate: £130 - £220
* Location: Ealing
* Job Type: Long-term contract (until the end of the academic year)
We are seeking a dedicated Science Teacher with a passion for education and a special touch for adapting to the unique needs of students in an SEN (Special Educational Needs) setting. This role requires a compassionate individual with a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) who is ready to start as soon as possible and commit until the end of the academic year.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Plan, prepare and deliver engaging science lessons that accommodate the diverse educational needs of SEN students.
* Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet students’ varying needs and interests.
* Establish and enforce rules for behaviour and procedures for maintaining an environment conducive to learning.
* Evaluate students’ academic and social growth, keep appropriate records, and prepare progress reports.
* Communicate with parents or guardians, teachers, counsellors, and administrators to ensure that students are making progress.
* Provide individualised instruction to each student by promoting interactive learning.
* Create and distribute educational content (notes, summaries, assignments etc.).
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Must possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Proven experience as a Science Teacher.
* Thorough knowledge of teaching best practices and legal educational guidelines partnered with a willingness to follow the school’s policies and procedures.
* Excellent communicability and interpersonal skills.
* Well-organised and committed.
* Creative and energetic.
* Strong moral values and discipline.
