The Ideal Candidate Essential Qualifications A relevant undergraduate degree (e.g., Psychology, Social Work) or an equivalent professional qualification in a related field.Experience Proven experience providing assessments, therapeutic interventions, and case management for neurodivergent children and young people (CYP). Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience, including managing teams and providing performance evaluations. Experience working collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams.Skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build meaningful connections and foster understanding. Ability to manage complex caseloads while offering effective support to team members. Proficiency in safeguarding practices, risk assessment, and intervention planning.Knowledge A solid understanding of trauma-informed care and systemic approaches to supporting neurodivergent individuals. Awareness of child development, neurodivergence, and the broader psychosocial factors that influence well-being. Desirable Qualifications A postgraduate qualification in CYP IAPT ASC/LD pathway. Advanced training in trauma-informed practice or systemic care approaches.Experience Familiarity with working within CAMHS ND pathways. Experience using routine outcome measures (ROMs) and service evaluation tools. Other Requirements A valid driving license and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
