As Accounts Payable Manager, you’ll manage a dedicated team in a growing financial services organisation, ensuring the smooth running of supplier payments and developing best practices. Reporting to the Director, you will be responsible for: Managing, mentoring and supporting the accounts payable team (of 10) Overseeing the payment and bookkeeping processes, ensuring invoices are paid on time, accurately and in compliance with policies Reviewing cashbooks, journals and payments to ensure accuracy Identifying and implementing improvements to systems and workflows to increase efficiency and accuracy Setting and monitoring KPIs for the team, conducting appraisals and providing career development pathways Collaborating across teams, building trust and receiving feedback for improvements What you will need: Previous experience in a similar role, such as Accounts Payable Team Manager / AP Team Leader / Payment Team Manager / Purchase Ledger Supervisor Proven leadership experience with ability to set KPIs and manage team performance A background in improving processes and implementing operational changes Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs and SUMIFs.
