Do you want to work in a key role, supporting students and facilitators and coordinating the Recovery College delivery in Dartford, Gravesend and Swanley alongside an innovative team? If the answer is yes, we have a vacancy for you.
This locality vacancy is part time (30 hrs/wk) but we may consider a job share for two successful applicants who are both seeking part time roles.

Main duties of the job

Person Specification
Knowledge
Essential:
* Knowledge of defining features of Recovery College and ethos.
* Awareness of range of different training and facilitation methods.
Desirable:
* Knowledge of recovery focussed practice in Mental health.
* Attended RC courses.
Skills
Essential:
* Good range of IT skills including excel and powerpoint.
* Ability to time manage training, managerial and admin demands.
* Excellent interpersonal and written skills.
* Ability to teach/facilitate subjects related to recovery and self management.
Desirable:
* Ability to deliver training and effective learning outcomes.
Experience
Essential:
* Current experience of using lived experience in a work/voluntary role.
* Personal/close relational experience of health and wellbeing recovery and service use.
* Experience of dealing professionally with people experiencing difficult situations.
Desirable:
* Working in an educational establishment.
Approach
Essential:
* A positive attitude that demonstrates interacting in a recovery oriented way.
* A professional attitude to fostering relationships with students and team.
* Able to communicate with people at all levels of the organisation.
* Ability to travel to sites in a timely manner.
