About Us:
At JW Physio Clinic, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Chartered Physiotherapist to join our dynamic team. Located within the vibrant setting of Loughton Essex, you will have the opportunity to work independently while being part of a close-knit and experienced team of Musculoskeletal Chartered Physiotherapists.
Your Responsibilities:
* Using our online practice management system to manage bookings, notes, and payments.
* Delivering high-quality assessments and treatments, always striving for excellence.
* Triaging patients to appropriate services when necessary.
* Maintaining communication with GP’s and other healthcare professionals via email/letters.
* Sending exercises to patients within 24 hours of their consultation.
* Timely response to patient emails.
* Managing your caseload efficiently and communicating with the owner about any planned time off.
* Ensuring strict compliance with data protection and security measures.
* Writing clinical notes in line with HCPC and CSP standards.
* Regularly updating patient information in our electronic note-keeping system.
* Managing communication related to stock and clinic logistics.
* Taking responsibility for rescheduling clients in the event of sickness and promptly notifying the owner.
* Actively participating in generating your own business and building your client base.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* BSc or MSc in Physiotherapy.
* MSc related to Sports & Exercise Medicine or Sports Injury Management (desirable but not required).
* Minimum of 2+ years MSK experience.
* Proof of ongoing CPD.
* Manual therapy expertise.
* Confidence in exercise rehabilitation, manual therapy, and sports massage.
* Sports Massage qualification or willingness to work towards one.
* Extensive experience working with patients of all abilities, including creating comprehensive rehabilitation programs from initial injury to return to sport/work/goals.
* Strong background in treating overuse injuries like tendinopathy and applying load management principles within a rehab program.
* Experience in running sports is a plus.
* Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council in the UK.
* Registration with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists in the UK.
* Willingness to seek guidance when uncertain about clinical issues.
Job Type: Part-time
Expected hours: 5 – 20 per week
