Joining a market leading national partnership, the principal Agricultural Mortgage Corporation agent in the region, you will benefit from the support and guidance of senior, experienced figures within the region and sector, as well as from high quality junior surveying and support staff that will allow the candidate to drive forward and progress their own career alongside expanding the services delivered by the office, within an established, successful team with an existing broad client base. We are flexible on level and are therefore open to considering individuals from Senior Surveyor to Partner level.

Main Tasks:
1. Valuation of rural property for all purposes including loan security, taxation, and expert witness purposes including farms, estates and residential property, and specialist valuations of property within the rural sector.
2. Delivery of Agricultural Mortgage Corporation (AMC) agency work.
3. Responsible for delivering a mix of valuation, landlord and tenant, compensation and other professional work.
4. Identifying opportunities from valuation inspections to cross sell other disciplines from across the firm including planning and development, commercial and energy work. Where such potential is identified to liaise with team members across divisions to deliver client work.
5. Working with the Partners to expand this aspect of the business.
6. Contribution to the growth of the business by identifying and developing viable fee earning opportunities including general professional work.
7. Client relationship management.
8. Participation in the development and implementation of an effective profit centre business plan developed in-line with the Carter Jonas vision.
9. Pro-active participation in the management and development of team members.
10. Work closely with other offices to develop business opportunities, and promote their division and profit centre, both internally and externally.

The ideal candidate would have extensive experience in a similar role, MRICS and FAAV qualified, seeking the next chapter in their career, or wishing to move to a role where they will have control of their future, whilst being part of a national multi-disciplined company with a wide range of opportunities, with an established route to partnership if successful.
