Job Description JOB TITLE: Assistant Manager, People Risk & Resilience Insights & Analytics LOCATION(S): Leeds, Bristol, Halifax or Edinburgh HOURS: Full time WORKING PATTERN: Hybrid, 40% (or two days) in an office site About this Opportunity You'll support longer term initiatives to redefine our approach to managing risk and drive improvement in the use of analytics to understand the effectiveness of our People Risk & Resilience Framework, using data from a range of sources to create actionable, accurate and timely information. You’ll work closely with the risk specialist leadership team to design, implement & embed risk policies, risk appetite and control objectives to support consistent and compliant behaviour and enable risk-based decision making, engaging with colleagues across the Group to share insight and advocate the importance of people risk and resilience. What you’ll need: Good understanding of Operational Risk and Operational Resilience Frameworks being used across financial and non-financial services. You'll need to show a passion for the role data can play in driving evidence-based decision making, and an ability to translate data into practical analytics which creates impact and influences the direction of change. Someone who is able to work collaboratively with colleagues from across a number of fields, balance technical and business narratives, and effectively prioritise their own resources. Strong analytical skills and knowledge of analytical techniques to assess Operational Risk and Operational Resilience effectiveness using a wide range of information and sources. Ability to understand and assimilate different sources of data and complex information to provide relevant conclusions and recommendations. Effective communication skills and a track record of translating data into compelling stories A growth learning mindset and the ability to plan and prioritise activities and react and respond in a changing environment. The desire to make a difference Desirable : Experience of Data Visualisation tools such as Tableau or Power BI. A good knowledge of core analytical methods and statistical approaches.
