Continuity of Carer Midwife to work within the Blossom Team at The Royal Berkshire Hospital.
The role involves caseloading a small group of women/birthing people to provide Antenatal, Intrapartum and Postnatal care. Care is provided through a flexible way of working with an on call requirement.
Main duties of the job
* Work within a continuity of care model for a caseload of women.
* Work within the Blossom team to provide Antenatal and Postnatal care within the Community setting within clinics and home visits.
* Demonstrate good time management by working flexibly over the 24hr period providing personalised women/birthing person centered care.
* Support team colleagues in the caring of their caseload.
* Be confident in providing intrapartum care within the home and hospital settings including the birth centre and delivery suite.
* Work closely with the Safeguarding Midwife to safeguard families.
