Job Title: Senior Geomatics Analyst - Onshore Location : Aberdeen or Edinburgh Salary: Highly Competitive The Opportunity: To assist and coordinate the remote data processing activities of Beam's hydrographic survey and inspection projects. Ensuring quality control and assurance of data complies with the project scope of work. Processing & supervision of survey data acquired from Vessel/USV/AUV/ROV platforms and to produce survey data products for GIS/SSDM, charts and reports. Main Responsibilities QC & QA of acquired survey data. QC & QA of survey delivery products. Maintain knowledge and develop experience in survey applications and survey techniques. Maintain comprehensive handover notes. Maintain a detailed and accurate processing log and checklist. Processing & supervision of hydrographic survey and inspection data. Creating survey data deliveries. Producing GIS / SSDM projects and GIS / CAD charts. Documenting procedures and workflows for Hydrographic Survey and Inspection projects. Project preparation, planning, and tendering support. Provide support to the offshore team. Coordinate remote data processing flow. Support USV remote data processing operations. Setup and administration of data processing hardware and software. Working with the development team on developing and utilising AI and machine learning for survey projects You should apply if you have: Essential: Survey / Hydrographic / Ocean Science / Data related Degree Experience in Offshore Survey Projects in a Data Processor role Experience in Data Management Experience with setup and administration of data processing hardware and software. Desirable: Knowledge with TVU planning and reporting. Experience with SSS and seismic navigation processing. Experience with creating charts (GIS & CAD). Experience with remote operations. Experience with automation from acquisition to delivery. Experience with a scripting language.
