What you’ll be doing
Studying towards a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Apprenticeship, you’ll be part of a team looking after babies and children up to the age of 5, providing a nurturing environment where children and learn through play. Responsibilities will include:
10. Communicating with parents daily on their child’s activities and logging their progress
11. Engaging in interactive play, reading, and other activities aligned to the learning curriculum.
12. Promoting and ensuring child welfare and protection whilst always following health and safety policies and procedures
13. Managing your own time to complete required coursework and meet deadlines.
What we’re looking for
14. English qualification GCSE Grade C / Level 4 or above OR Functional Skills Level 2.
15. Passion for making learning fun and engaging.
16. Good relationship building skills eg empathy, active listening, trustworthy.
17. Excellent communication skills – written and spoken.
