DCT Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Small Bore Piping Supervisor to join our client in Deeside on a 12-18 month temporary contract. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing small bore piping installations and maintenance, with hands-on experience in an industrial or engineering setting. As a key member of the team, you will oversee daily operations, ensuring the safe and efficient completion of all piping tasks. Key Responsibilities: Supervise the installation, maintenance, and repair of small bore piping systems. Lead and coordinate a team of pipe fitters and laborers to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently. Interpret piping drawings and technical specifications to ensure work is in line with project requirements. Monitor work progress and ensure timely completion of all tasks in compliance with quality and safety standards. Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Ensure all materials and equipment are available for project completion and that tools are maintained properly. Provide daily reports to the project manager or senior leadership regarding progress, issues, and challenges. Act as a point of contact for the client, contractors, and vendors to ensure smooth communication and resolution of issues. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members and promote a collaborative work environment. Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Piping Supervisor, with a focus on small bore piping systems. Strong knowledge of piping materials, installation, and maintenance procedures. Familiarity with industry standards such as ASME, ANSI, and other relevant piping codes. Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings and technical documents. Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills. In-depth understanding of safety standards and practices within the piping industry. Valid safety certifications (e.g., OSHA, CSCS, or equivalent) preferred. Desirable Skills: Previous experience working in Deeside or similar industrial environments. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing project requirements. Familiarity with project management software and reporting tools.
