The right candidate will help spearhead the logistics framework for a multi-billion-pound capital investment plan. In this role, you’ll establish and manage a comprehensive Construction Logistics Strategy, supporting the efficient delivery of high-value, multi-phase infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities: Strategy Development : Design and implement a central logistics strategy to streamline multi-contractor project delivery, moving from a contractor-led to a client-led model. Partnership Oversight : Manage the onboarding and performance of a third-party logistics partner, ensuring smooth collaboration with internal teams and contractors. Operational Leadership : Oversee logistics services across projects, focusing on resource allocation, cost management, compliance, and continuous improvement. Safety & Risk Management : Implement safety protocols, manage logistics-related risks, and promote sustainability by integrating new technologies. Team Management : Lead and mentor a logistics team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and efficient project execution. Qualifications & Experience: Degree or equivalent in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field; accreditation as a Construction Logistics Planning Practitioner is a plus. Extensive experience in construction logistics for complex, multidisciplinary projects valued at £100m annually, ideally in a live operational environment. Proven success in logistics strategy development, third-party management, and working within the UK construction supply chain. Strong technical knowledge of logistics best practices, health, safety, and environmental standards. Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills, with proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office. Why Apply?
